The PolyGraph project successfully completed its activities in October 2017. For further information please contact us.

Industrial Interest Group

Industrial Interest Group

You are invited to join the PolyGraph Project Industrial Interest Group

The project is seeking members to join its Industrial Interest Group. Participants will receive advance information about new technologies developed during the project's lifespan and provide feedback to the consortium partners.

PolyGraph will develop new production techniques to deliver industrial-scale quantities of graphene-reinforced thermosetting polymers, suitable for use in a number of key applications where improvements are needed in the strength, stiffness, toughness, electrical conductivity and thermal properties.

The ultimate aim of PolyGraph is to develop a process in which graphene can be produced and dispersed "in-situ" within thermosetting polymer resins, using relatively inexpensive expanded graphite as a starting material.

The Industrial Interest Group will provide a forum for two-way discussion. Group members will benefit from advance information on the new technologies developed and will have the opportunity to steer project outcomes, while consortium partners will receive external feedback and commercial perspectives on their developments.

Industrial Interest Group members will:

  • Receive advance information on project progress, including development of new materials and technologies
  • Have the opportunity to steer the project outcomes to be industry-relevant
  • Provide feedback and commercial perspectives on the project

The Industrial Interest Group will have the opportunity to meet with the consortium partners at several workshops throughout the duration of the project as well as participating in active discussions on the project's professional LinkedIn group.

To become a member, or for more information, please contact us or join our LinkedIn Group.

Exploitation Committee

An Exploitation Committee will be formed, Chaired by the Coordinator, whose purpose will be to provide direction and guidance on aspects such as dissemination of project results and plans for the commercial exploitation of foreground developed within the project. The Committee will also liaise with the Industrial Interest Group and the standardisation bodies.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement No 604143.
